AI Automation Engineer

Job Summary

The remote contract AI Automation Engineer will design, implement, and deploy AI agents to automate workflows and customer interactions, collaborating with stakeholders to build production-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI agents and chatbots for automating internal workflows and customer interactions
• Build and maintain automation pipelines using scripting and tools like n8n, Workato, or Zapier
• Perform full-stack development using Python and/or Node.js to support automation workflows

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in an IT Engineer or adjacent role
• Demonstrated experience with RAG architecture and orchestration frameworks like LangChain
• Experience building and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL) and creating automations
• Working knowledge of source control, containerization, and public cloud infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with AI coding CLI agents for daily development workflows
