AI Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support the onboarding and optimization of data-center telemetry, the remote contract AI Automation Engineer will design, build, and maintain automation pipelines that streamline operational validation and engineering workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation pipelines for operational validation and engineering workflows
• Integrate data from various internal systems, databases, work-tracking tools, APIs, and document repositories
• Automate manual review and reporting processes while ensuring human-in-the-loop approval gates are preserved

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5+ years of software engineering experience using Python, C#, PowerShell, or similar backend/automation languages
• 3+ years of experience building automation pipelines, backend tools, data workflows, or system integrations
• 3+ years of experience working with structured and semi-structured data sources (e.g., SQL, KQL, APIs, JSON, CSV, logs)
• Solid experience working with AI systems
