AI Automation Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of production-grade AI agents, the full-time independent contractor AI Automation Engineer will design, build, and deploy automation solutions on Azure, focusing on reengineering business processes and integrating AI technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Translate operational workflows into AI-automation opportunities and redesign processes for automation
- Architect and code AI agents from scratch using modern tools like Codex and Claude Code, ensuring clean and maintainable implementations
- Deploy and manage agents in Azure Container Apps and Azure Function Apps, optimizing for cost and performance
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience building AI agents from scratch using coding frameworks
- Strong command of agent orchestration and multi-agent patterns
- Hands-on experience deploying services to Azure Container Apps and/or Azure Function Apps
- Proven ability to process-map workflows and redesign them for automation
- Solid software engineering fundamentals, including Python and/or TypeScript
