AI Center of Excellence Director

Job Summary

The full-time remote AI Center of Excellence Director will establish and lead the AI Center of Excellence, building production AI capabilities from the ground up while managing a team and developing workflows for client services across various sectors.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement the organizational structure and operating model for the AI Center of Excellence, delivering initial production workflows within six months
• Oversee the AI production strategy, prioritizing investments based on use case value and technical feasibility across multiple service lines
• Build and manage the AI Ambassador network, providing training and tools to enhance the adoption of AI workflows within the firm

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 12+ years of progressive technology and AI experience, with at least five years in leadership roles focused on AI strategy and production
• Proven experience in building and scaling AI programs within professional services or consulting environments
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, including risk classification and responsible AI principles
• Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions in a matrixed environment
