AI Community Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an AI Community Engineer to enhance open source AI tools within the Fedora community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead community initiatives and collaborate with the Fedora AI/ML Special Interest Group
- Package, test, and maintain open source AI frameworks and tooling for Fedora repositories
- Create documentation and deployment guides for developers working with AI/ML tooling on Fedora
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with open source large language models (LLMs) and knowledge of GPU-based software stacks
- Strong proficiency with Linux-based systems and Python
- Experience with the Fedora Project or a comparable open source community
- Demonstrated ability in organizing complex projects with diverse stakeholders
- Experience with software development and open source developer communities
