AI Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support advanced AI initiatives, the remote AI Data Engineer will design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize data infrastructure for AI/ML workloads, and implement data quality solutions on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT and data processing pipelines
• Build and optimize data infrastructure for AI/ML workloads
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to deploy AI solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or AI Data Platforms
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java/Scala/Go
• Advanced scripting expertise in Python, Bash, and Linux environments
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and Databricks
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including BigQuery and Vertex AI
