Job Summary
Supporting the Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of the Chief Information Officer, the full-time AI Data Scientist will analyze and model data, develop machine learning models, and operationalize AI-driven solutions in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, train, validate, and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement AI-enabled solutions and simulations
- Document models and methodologies while ensuring compliance with responsible AI principles and governance
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with modern data science frameworks
- Demonstrated experience developing and deploying predictive models in production environments
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and cloud-native platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
