Job Summary

To support the development of multi-channel customer interaction agents, the contract AI Developer will work remotely across the USA, focusing on designing agent logic, implementing advanced AI techniques, and ensuring production readiness on the Google Cloud Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design agent logic using the Agent Development Kit (ADK) and enable grounded responses through function/tool calling and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Collaborate within agile squads, applying expertise in LLM engineering and deploying agents using Vertex AI Agent Engine
• Provide troubleshooting support for agent deployment, performance optimization, and ensure production readiness through evaluation and safety practices

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, including async patterns and FastAPI
• Experience with Google Cloud technologies, including Dialogflow CX and Cloud Run
• Strong background in agent orchestration and deployment using the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK)
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration
• Familiarity with performance optimization and troubleshooting in AI systems
