AI Developer

Job Summary

To support the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the full-time remote AI Developer/Engineer will develop, evaluate, and operationalize secure AI capabilities, including RAG applications and predictive models, across various cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and productionize AI applications, chatbots, and predictive models for FEMA mission programs
• Evaluate new AI use cases, providing feasibility and solution-stack estimates
• Integrate AI/ML models with applications and workflows, implementing MLOps and DevSecOps practices

Required qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or software engineering
• Proficiency in Python, R, or JavaScript, with experience in machine-learning frameworks
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-hosted AI services
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Relevant technical certifications in Cloud, AI/ML, or DevSecOps preferred
