AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of MOBE's AI Platform, the remote AI Engineer will build production AI systems and RAG pipelines, ensuring the translation of healthcare data into reliable outputs while operationalizing ML and AI lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities:

• Build production AI and RAG systems, focusing on retrieval quality and answer reliability
• Design AI evaluation practices to measure various performance metrics and user confidence
• Develop agentic workflows that support decision processes with observability and guardrails

Required qualifications:

• Experience with AI and machine learning operations, particularly in healthcare analytics
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, dbt, and cloud services for data pipeline development
• Familiarity with MLflow or equivalent tools for model lifecycle management
• Knowledge of AWS services such as SageMaker and Bedrock for deploying AI models
• Understanding of data governance and compliance standards related to PHI and PII
