AI Engineer

Job Summary

Designing agent systems from first principles, the full-time remote AI Engineer will create production-grade systems for auditing medical claims, focusing on context engineering and evaluation rigor while utilizing advanced AI tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Design agent systems, determining architecture, tools, and evaluation strategies
• Engineer context for prompts and outputs, ensuring effective interaction with AI models
• Drive evaluation rigor by building and diagnosing evaluation metrics prior to system deployment

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of applied ML/AI engineering experience with a Bachelor's in CS, Math, Engineering, or equivalent, or a Master's with no prior experience
• Strong Python engineering skills with a focus on clean abstractions and tested code
• Hands-on understanding of agent loops and their operational dynamics
• Experience with major agent SDKs and familiarity with their trade-offs
• Fluency in using Claude Code/Codex for engineering tasks and a solid command of version control systems
