AI Engineer

Job Summary

As the founding engineer for a new team, the full-time remote AI Engineer will shape the technical direction and architecture of agentic AI systems, build and ship production code, and enable cross-departmental collaboration to enhance AI-assisted workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Define the foundational architecture for enterprise agentic AI, including orchestration and tool integrations
• Write production code and establish CI/CD infrastructure for agentic systems while transitioning prototypes to production-grade systems
• Coach departmental teams on production patterns and develop internal-facing developer experience templates and SDKs

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong systems design fundamentals
• Hands-on experience building production systems that integrate with LLMs and agentic patterns
• Proficiency in at least two programming languages such as Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go
• Experience with LLM APIs, agentic frameworks, and workflow automation tools
• Track record of building and scaling a platform, function, or product area from scratch
