AI Engineer

Job Summary

Directing AI coding tools to produce production-quality code, the full-time remote Agentic AI Engineer will oversee the development process across frontend, backend, and database layers, ensuring quality and debugging complex issues.

Key responsibilities

• Direct AI coding tools to generate and validate production-quality code
• Debug complex production issues and maintain architecture accountability for the delivery pod
• Mentor junior engineers on AI tool fluency and best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 12 months of daily use of two or more AI coding tools in production work
• Experience with AI-driven code review and understanding of their limitations
• Proficiency in writing effective prompts for code generation and understanding MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for AI output and knowledge of security risks associated with AI-generated code
