AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support the AI Engineering team, the full-time AI Engineer will work remotely to build and operate AI products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address key learning and operational challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Build agent orchestration and integrations for AI solutions within SNHU systems under the guidance of a Senior AI Engineer
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to documentation and evaluations to ensure quality and reusability of work
• Collaborate with team members to surface technical risks and maintain effective communication regarding progress and blockers

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building and shipping production software using modern programming languages, with a focus on Python
• Production experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with serverless compute and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or similar
• Understanding of LLM evaluation processes and cloud-native development workflows, including CI/CD concepts
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, and active use of AI development tools like GitHub Copilot
