AI Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an AI Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, focusing on building and shipping features across various codebases while innovating AI-assisted development processes and systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and ship features across the GovPilot, SDL, and Hedgerow codebases, adapting to new languages and frameworks as needed
• Design and implement systems that enable AI agents to operate at scale while ensuring safety and quality
• Propose and pilot innovative workflows that extend beyond traditional agile methodologies

Required qualifications:

• Deep hands-on experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) as a primary resource
• Ability to navigate multiple programming languages and stacks without extensive ramp-up time
• Proven track record of working independently and setting personal priorities
• Strong judgment in establishing guardrails for autonomous AI operations
• Genuine curiosity about the transformative impact of AI on software development
