AI Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote AI Engineer, this full-time position will translate AI priorities into practical capabilities, enhancing decision quality and productivity in climate action and sustainable development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop AI systems that improve decision-making and workflow efficiency
• Build AI capabilities for data validation, risk assessment, and quality checks to enhance data integrity
• Integrate AI solutions into enterprise platforms while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• 4 to 8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in AI/ML engineering or applied AI roles
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining production-grade AI systems and services
• Familiarity with large language models, prompt engineering, and complex multi-source datasets
