AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support a fast-growing advanced analytics consulting firm, the full-time remote AI Engineer will focus on building high-performance API services and implementing complex RAG and Agentic AI architectures, leveraging expertise in Python and AWS infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, optimizing for latency and relevance
• Develop autonomous or semi-autonomous agents, managing orchestration and tool integration for AI outputs
• Utilize evaluation frameworks to assess system performance and iterate for continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in software development and AI engineering
• Hands-on experience integrating Generative AI/LLM APIs and AWS Bedrock
• Strong Python programming skills with a deep understanding of OpenAI API standards and JSON RESTful design
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and ML pipelines within the AWS ecosystem
• Exposure to building Gen AI/Agentic AI applications and managing backend infrastructure
