AI Engineer

Job Summary

Experienced engineers will find a full-time remote opportunity as an AI Engineer, responsible for designing, building, and operating LLM-powered systems that integrate into product workflows while maintaining strong engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build production AI systems that integrate LLMs into real product workflows
• Design reliable LLM architectures with safeguards and observability for production features
• Develop evaluation and experimentation frameworks to measure model performance and guide improvements

Required qualifications

• At least five years of experience building production systems with strong engineering fundamentals
• Experience with large language models in production environments, including prompt design and context management
• Proficiency in building evaluation frameworks and designing datasets for model performance measurement
• Familiarity with retrieval augmented generation systems and understanding of embeddings and semantic search
• Conceptual knowledge of modern language models, including transformers and attention mechanisms
