AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support the AI Engineering team, the full-time AI Engineer will work remotely to build and operate AI products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address learning and operational challenges at the university.

Key responsibilities

• Build agent orchestration and integrate AI solutions with SNHU systems under the guidance of a Senior AI Engineer
• Participate in architecture discussions, contribute to design documents, and implement solution-specific tests and evaluations
• Collaborate with team members to enhance AI development practices and ensure high-quality deliverables for future pods

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in building and shipping production software using modern programming languages, with a focus on Python
• Production experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and agentic frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud-native development workflows, including CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
• Active use of AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and GitHub Copilot
