Job Summary
To support innovative software development, the full-time AI Engineer will build and optimize a system for executing agent teams, focusing on enhancing developer tooling and ensuring measurable quality in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build the agent execution runtime, designing a layer for compiling briefs into agent teams with deterministic gates and recovery behavior
- Design the tool surface for agents, creating typed, versioned toolpacks that ensure safe execution and process ownership
- Establish metrics for quality measurement and improvement, instrumenting the system to gather data for tuning prompts and context
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly with LLM-backed systems in production
- Hands-on experience with agentic systems, including orchestration and prompt engineering
- Strong background in developer tooling, including CLIs, CI/CD, and internal platforms
- Proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of systems fundamentals across a polyglot codebase
- Demonstrated ownership and effective communication skills in a remote-friendly team environment
