AI Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development and maintenance of AI solutions in a higher education environment, the full-time AI Engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design and implement AI applications, and ensure their performance in production settings, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements for AI capabilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain AI applications and services using low-code Microsoft tools
- Monitor system health and implement fixes as needed to ensure optimal performance of AI applications
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of related experience
- Experience in developing and maintaining AI-powered applications using Azure AI services
- Knowledge of integrating AI functionality into systems using the Microsoft technical stack
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in both custom and third-party applications
- Familiarity with maintaining secure access patterns and data protection controls for AI applications
