AI Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a founding AI Engineer to work full-time remotely, who will build the technical foundation for a new vertical by defining market needs, creating reusable infrastructure, and leading customer engagements from scoping to delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with the GM and early customers to define technical requirements and build the first MVP of reusable patterns and tooling
- Lead customer engagements end-to-end, translating complex requirements into durable systems and maintaining post-launch support
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify which patterns should become core platform capabilities and drive productization
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of engineering experience, including significant work in ambiguous environments as a founding engineer or early technical lead
- Strong backend and data-oriented engineering skills with hands-on experience in Python and SQL
- Ability to create structure in undefined situations and make architectural decisions balancing immediate needs with long-term goals
- Experience running technical scoping conversations with customers and translating them into actionable plans
- Strong technical judgment and communication skills, capable of engaging with senior technical and business stakeholders
