AI Engineer Lead
Job Summary
Leading the development of AI and ML solutions, the full-time AI Engineer Lead will design and build event-driven architectures, contribute to domain services, and drive modernization efforts while working onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.
Key responsibilities
- Lead service rationalization and decomposition across complex enterprise ecosystems
- Design and build API-first, event-driven architectures and contribute hands-on to integrations and POCs
- Partner with global teams to promote a platform-first mindset and enable service reuse through governance and standards
Required qualifications
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience as an AI engineer lead with a focus on engineering and architecture execution
- Deep hands-on experience in building production-grade systems in enterprise environments
- Expertise in microservices, APIs (REST/GraphQL), event-driven architecture (Kafka), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams while balancing architecture design and hands-on coding
- Experience with domain-driven design (DDD) and service decomposition in distributed systems
