AI Engineer - Point Cloud Automation

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AI Engineer - Point Cloud Automation Specialist for a confidential pilot project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of workflows to transform point-cloud data into CAD outputs
• Develop and fine-tune AI/ML models for segmentation, classification, and geometry reconstruction
• Build supporting data pipelines and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to ensure alignment with engineering standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in 3D computer vision or point-cloud processing
• Strong Python programming experience and familiarity with 3D frameworks like Open3D and PCL
• Experience with AI model integration into CAD or 3D modeling platforms
• Understanding of geometry projection and automated drawing generation workflows
• Strong data-engineering fundamentals for building scalable processing pipelines
