AI Engineer - SAP Ariba

Job Summary

As an AI Forward Deployed Engineer - SAP Ariba, the full-time remote position will embed with enterprise customers to identify and solve procurement-related operational challenges, build AI solutions tailored to client environments, and manage relationships across a portfolio of accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with enterprise customers to analyze procurement workflows and identify high-ROI problems
• Build and deploy customized AI agent solutions using Zip's AppStudio and infrastructure
• Manage customer relationships and parallel workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder trust

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working directly with SAP Ariba
• Experience building AI solutions or automated workflows using tools like Claude, N8N, Make, or Zapier
• Proven track record of independently managing complex customer engagements from scoping to delivery
• Technical fluency to build integrations and diagnose workflow failures without engineering support
