AI Engineer with Secret Clearance

Job Summary

To support the design and development of AI/ML-enabled personnel management products, the full-time AI Engineer with Secret Clearance will manage data pipelines, scoring algorithms, and API infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligent matching capabilities into a Department of War program management platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines, scoring algorithms, and API infrastructure for AI-driven matching and recommendation capabilities
• Build and maintain integrations between the matching engine and existing program management platforms, ensuring compliance with security protocols
• Collaborate with product managers and technical SMEs to test and refine matching logic and algorithm outputs, focusing on user-configurable features

Required qualifications

• Eligibility for a Secret clearance required; active Secret clearance preferred
• 3-5 years of full-stack engineering experience in production-grade applications
• Strong backend development experience in Python, with proficiency in building data-intensive applications
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs for cross-system integration
• Solid working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
