AI Engineer with Secret Clearance

Job Summary

To support the design and development of AI/ML-enabled personnel management products for a high-visibility Department of War Program, an AI Engineer with Secret Clearance will work full-time to design data pipelines, scoring algorithms, and API infrastructure, while integrating intelligent matching capabilities into existing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop data pipelines, scoring algorithms, and API infrastructure for AI-driven matching and recommendation capabilities
• Build and maintain integrations between the matching engine and existing program management platforms, including API specifications and data handoff mechanisms
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate algorithm outputs, develop explainability features, and ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices

Required qualifications

• Eligibility for a Secret clearance required; active Secret clearance preferred
• 3-5 years of full-stack engineering experience in production-grade applications
• Strong backend development experience in Python, with proficiency in building data-intensive applications
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs for cross-system integration
• Solid working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
