AI Engineer with Top Secret Clearance

Job Summary

Building advanced LLM and document-intelligence capabilities, the contract AI Engineer with Top Secret Clearance will develop cloud-based data processing pipelines, create workflows for information extraction, and establish evaluation frameworks while working remotely in Virginia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop RAG and document-processing pipelines on a cloud-based lakehouse platform, including OCR and data ingestion
• Build workflows for LLM-based summarization and evidence-grounded text generation with source attribution
• Document processes and collaborate with internal teams for knowledge transfer and operational deployment

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and active T5/SSBI federally adjudicated clearance required
• 8+ years of experience building applied ML/AI or data systems, specifically LLM and RAG systems
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and document processing at scale
• Experience with local/self-hosted LLM serving and structured extraction with source attribution
• Strong proficiency in Python and government or defense contracting experience
