AI Engineering Director
Job Summary
As a strategic leader in a full-time remote capacity, the AI Engineering Director will define and implement enterprise-wide AI architecture and best practices, focusing on secure and scalable AI solutions while guiding the organization's AI transformation.
Key responsibilities
- Define and lead the enterprise AI architecture strategy, establishing principles and best practices for AI/ML solutions
- Design secure, scalable AI solutions leveraging advanced technologies while ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Manage cross-functional collaboration efforts to deliver integrated AI solutions that meet business requirements
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field required
- 10+ years of experience in information technology, with at least 7 years in enterprise architecture or technical leadership roles
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML architecture and application development
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare technology and understanding of health data standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Proven experience leading architecture teams and managing diverse technical teams
