AI Engineering Lead

Job Summary

To act as the technical authority across the engineering team, the full-time AI Engineering Lead will architect and ship end-to-end AI applications while mentoring engineers and establishing strong engineering standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and ship end-to-end AI applications across GenAI, agentic AI, ML/DL, including computer vision and automation
• Lead technical direction for AI projects across multiple accounts and ensure scalable, secure, enterprise-ready builds
• Coach and mentor engineers through code reviews, 1:1s, and growth plans while defining best practices for AI-first software development

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership or mentoring role
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, LLM applications, and AI microservices
• Familiarity with tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, PyTorch/TensorFlow, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Understanding of MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, and AI observability
• Proven ability to communicate AI trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
