AI Engineering Lead
Job Summary
Leading the AI Hub Center of Excellence, the full-time AI Engineering & Enablement Lead will manage the integration of enterprise AI tools into the software development lifecycle, establish engineering best practices, and oversee a hybrid team to ensure the delivery of production-grade AI solutions in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Own the AI Hub COE charter and bridge the Enterprise AI team with Patient Services engineering
- Architect the agent deployment framework and establish standards for AI agent lifecycle management
- Lead a hybrid onshore/offshore team to deliver multiple AI MVPs and track progress against key performance indicators
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical lead or architect role
- Proven experience architecting and deploying LLM-based systems or AI agents in production
- Hands-on proficiency with major cloud AI platforms, especially Vertex AI
- Familiarity with AI governance, compliance, and HIPAA/PHI handling
- Experience leading distributed onshore/offshore teams effectively
