AI Engineering Lead
Job Summary
Leading the AI Hub Center of Excellence, the full-time AI Engineering Lead will manage the integration of enterprise AI tooling into the software development lifecycle, establish governance frameworks, and oversee a hybrid team to deliver production-grade AI solutions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own the AI Hub COE charter and bridge the Enterprise AI team with Patient Services engineering
- Architect agent deployment frameworks and establish standards for AI agent development and lifecycle management
- Lead stakeholder alignment and delivery leadership for multiple AI MVPs and tech workstreams
Required qualifications
- 8+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in a technical lead or architect role
- Experience architecting and deploying LLM-based systems or AI agents in production
- Fluency with a major cloud AI platform (Vertex AI preferred) and leading LLMs (Claude, Gemini)
- Knowledge of agent design patterns and AI-assisted development tooling
- Strong grasp of governance and compliance for AI in a regulated environment (HIPAA/PHI handling)
