AI Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a new team within the AI & Business Technology Engineering organization, the full-time Manager, AI Engineering will mentor and grow a distributed team of AI engineers to develop AI-native capabilities that enhance operational efficiency across various departments while collaborating closely with business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a distributed team of AI engineers to build internal AI copilots and agents
• Contribute to architecture and prototypes for AI systems while setting a high technical standard
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify and implement high-impact AI opportunities

Required qualifications

• Significant experience as a software engineering manager with a proven track record of leading engineering teams
• Hands-on experience with modern AI/ML systems and operational discipline of LLMOps
• Practical knowledge of building or operating agentic systems orchestration frameworks
• Strong software engineering fundamentals in at least one production language (Python, Go, TypeScript, or Java)
• Experience hiring and developing AI engineering talent in competitive markets
