AI Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team dedicated to building an enterprise AI/ML platform, the full-time AI Engineering Manager will oversee the development, deployment, and operation of AI solutions while managing platform capabilities, fostering engineering culture, and driving measurable business value in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across Databricks and AWS
• Collaborate with Product Management to define strategies and roadmaps for platform capabilities, treating the platform as a product to drive adoption and measure success
• Champion engineering excellence by establishing best practices in AI/ML development, operational health, and automated governance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of experience in Information Technology, including 5+ years in a specific IT discipline
• 3+ years of leadership experience in IT disciplines such as customer relationship management or portfolio strategy
• Demonstrated experience managing high-performance teams and executing large projects
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to support business initiatives
