AI Evaluation Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a part-time basis, the AI Evaluation Engineer will create realistic developer environments, design evaluation tasks, and write tests to assess AI coding agents' performance in handling real-world developer tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Build realistic developer environments with a codebase, infrastructure, and context for evaluation
- Design tasks and define criteria for what constitutes a "solved" task for AI agents
- Write and iterate on tests that verify agent solutions based on QA feedback
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Proficiency in Python (FastAPI), JavaScript/TypeScript (React), Docker, Postgres, Kafka, and Redis
- Experience in writing functional and integration tests
- English proficiency at a B2 level or higher
