AI Feedback Specialist for BLV

Job Summary

To support the development of AI tools for the blind and low vision community, the remote AI Feedback Specialist for BLV will evaluate a visual interpreter feature by using an Android phone to ask questions about real-world scenes and provide feedback on the AI's performance.

Key responsibilities

• Test the AI assistant by asking questions about objects, text, and scenes using voice commands
• Rate the accuracy and helpfulness of the AI's responses, especially in safety-critical situations
• Provide detailed feedback on how the AI can better serve users who are blind or have low vision

Required qualifications

• Must be blind or low vision with daily experience navigating without full reliance on sight
• Regular user of at least one assistive technology tool (e.g., screen reader, AI vision app)
• Possess an Android smartphone with a working camera
• Native fluency in English
• Comfortable using voice commands to interact with AI assistants
