AI-First Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a remote contract AI-First Engineer with extensive Oracle SCM expertise, the position focuses on leveraging AI throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to enhance supply chain application design, development, and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply AI-enabled engineering practices across all phases of the software lifecycle, including requirements analysis and solution design
- Utilize AI tools for code generation, optimization, and the development of customizations and integrations within Oracle SCM applications
- Implement AI-driven testing strategies and automation to enhance testing efficiency and support Oracle Cloud quarterly releases
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically with Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle EBS applications
- Proficiency in AI technologies and tools such as GitHub Copilot, Oracle Code Assist, and Agentic AI frameworks
- Strong understanding of PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, and related programming languages
- Experience in implementing AI-assisted testing and DevOps practices
- Demonstrated ability to achieve measurable business outcomes through AI adoption in software development
