AI-First UI/UX Designer
Job Summary
As a key member of the Technology team, the full-time salaried AI-First UI/UX Designer will lead the UI/UX design for fireclaytile.com, manage backend Shopify configuration, and collaborate with developers to enhance the e-commerce experience in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Own end-to-end UI/UX design for fireclaytile.com from concept through build-ready specifications
- Handle backend Shopify Plus configuration, including products, collections, and checkout processes
- Lead design for custom development projects and partner with Growth Marketing on landing pages and site performance
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience, particularly in e-commerce and Shopify Plus
- Expert proficiency in Figma, capable of producing build-ready specifications for developers
- Fluency in Shopify Plus admin with HTML/CSS/Liquid literacy for quality assurance and prototyping
- Experience in the Home category, understanding visual merchandising and customer purchase journeys
- Self-directed with the ability to manage remote developers and focus on e-commerce conversion and accessibility
