Job Summary

Embedding directly with enterprise customers, the full-time AI Forward Deployed Engineer will uncover operational challenges and build tailored AI solutions using Zip's infrastructure, while managing a small portfolio of accounts in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Understand procurement and adjacent workflows at the process level to identify high-ROI problems
• Build and deploy customized AI agent solutions using Zip's AppStudio and AI infrastructure
• Manage customer relationships and parallel workstreams, ensuring timely delivery and high stakeholder trust

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in enterprise procurement, finance operations, or a related function
• Direct experience in building AI agents or automated workflows, with a portfolio of live projects
• Proven track record of independently managing complex customer engagements from scoping to delivery
• Technical fluency to build integrations and diagnose workflow failures without needing an engineer
• Domain knowledge in procurement or finance, with formal credentials being a plus
