AI Gateway Architect
Job Summary
Joining a fully remote engineering team, the AI Gateway Architect/Engineer will drive the secure integration and scalable deployment of AI and MCP gateway technologies across multi-cloud environments, collaborating with CTO and platform engineering teams to ensure robust security and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and recommend AI and MCP gateway technologies in partnership with CTO and platform engineering teams
- Define, implement, and enforce security requirements and guardrails for AI gateway deployment
- Act as a critical bridge between business, security, and technical platform teams to ensure alignment on AI security and workflow integration
Required qualifications
- Proven expertise in cloud engineering or architecture within AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
- Demonstrated experience with AI gateways, API gateways, LLM workflows, or agentic AI architectures
- Strong understanding of AI security concepts, governance, and enforcement frameworks
- Ability to clearly translate complex technical requirements into actionable business and security terms
- Hands-on engineering acumen with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
