Job Summary
As a full-time AI Governance & Explainability Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for embedding governance and explainability into AI solutions, ensuring they are auditable and production-ready, while working remotely within the Data Governance team.
Key responsibilities
- Embed governance, explainability, and risk controls into AI workflows and automate compliance processes
- Advise solution teams on explainability requirements and implement human oversight controls in AI systems
- Define and enforce governance checkpoints within CI/CD pipelines, ensuring all outputs are traceable and audit-ready
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data governance, or related roles
- Demonstrated experience operationalizing AI governance and explainability in production environments
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Microsoft Fabric and Purview
- Familiarity with AI/ML tooling and integration of governance controls into CI/CD pipelines
