AI Governance Lead

Job Summary

To support regulated-industry clients in establishing AI governance frameworks, the AI Governance Lead will work remotely on a contract basis, focusing on defining policy, accountability structures, and risk classification for AI use cases while collaborating with senior stakeholders and the client's Data Governance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and author policies regarding permitted and prohibited AI uses, including establishing decision rights and accountability frameworks
• Establish an integrated operating model with the client's Data Governance function, ensuring alignment across various stakeholders and governance forums
• Lead the engagement team, managing the roadmap and deliverables while ensuring synchronization between policy and technical tracks

Required Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of experience in enterprise data governance, model risk management, or related governance disciplines with program leadership scope
• Proven experience in setting enterprise-scale policy and accountability frameworks
• Knowledge of authority and decision rights structures in large enterprises
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in governance, business, and technical areas
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience
