AI Governance Lead

Job Summary

Owning the day-to-day operations of the AI governance program, the full-time AI Governance Lead will establish and improve processes, controls, and policies for responsible AI adoption while working remotely across the continental U.S.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain workflows and cadences to ensure AI governance operates as a repeatable process
• Draft and manage the company's AI policies, standards, and guidelines
• Develop metrics and reporting to provide insights into program health and key risks

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in governance, risk, and compliance or a related field, with at least 3 years leading a program
• Experience operationalizing governance or compliance programs from end-to-end
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF or ISO/IEC 42001
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and hands-on experience with AI tools
• Certifications such as AIGP, CIPP/CIPM/CIPT, CISA, or CISM are preferred
