AI Governance Lead Consultant

Job Summary

To support the responsible development and deployment of AI across the enterprise, the fully remote AI Governance Lead Consultant will manage the creation and operationalization of an AI Governance Program, focusing on risk management, control inventories, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive catalog of AI risks and controls
• Operationalize governance processes for high-priority AI areas, ensuring alignment with other risk management functions
• Collaborate with technology, engineering, and data science teams to implement practical governance controls throughout the AI development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in governance, risk, or compliance roles, preferably with a focus on operationalizing governance programs
• Strong understanding of governance, risk, and compliance concepts, including risk management and operationalization of controls
• Experience in building or improving governance frameworks and oversight programs
• Ability to effectively communicate technical risks to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Passion for learning about AI trends, tooling, and regulatory developments
