AI Governance Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning risk assessment across four AI governance domains, the full-time AI Governance Security Engineer will identify security gaps, define controls, and operationalize the AI Governance Risk Charter while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk evaluations of AI use cases and maintain the AI governance risk register
• Identify security gaps in GenAI deployments and recommend targeted controls
• Partner with AI/ML and engineering teams to identify security solutions and track execution

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or cybersecurity with knowledge of compliance and threat landscapes
• Hands-on experience with risk assessment methodologies and impact-based prioritization
• Working knowledge of modern AI/ML systems and associated security risks
• Experience securing GenAI or agentic AI applications in enterprise environments is a plus
• Familiarity with shadow IT/AI governance and threat modeling in novel technology environments is advantageous
