AI Innovation Product Manager

Job Summary

To enhance customer engagement and loyalty, the full-time salaried AI Innovation Product Manager will focus on developing AI-powered Rewards and Benefits experiences for Amex Card Members, collaborating with engineering and business teams to create seamless interactions within partner channels.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to apply evolving technologies for AI-facilitated Membership experiences, particularly in rewards and benefits activation
• Define product features, user stories, and roadmaps by balancing customer needs with internal and partner stakeholder requirements
• Ensure compliance with data governance principles while evaluating LLM-based experiences for accuracy and personalization

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in product development/management or software engineering in AI, digital products, or financial services
• Strong knowledge of third-party integration technologies such as OAuth and SDKs
• Experience with customer research methods and familiarity with rewards, loyalty, or membership platforms
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders quickly
• Creative problem-solving skills within a regulated financial-services environment
