AI Knowledge Engineer

Job Summary

To support scalable AI capabilities, the full-time AI Knowledge Engineer will build and maintain a centralized knowledge base, define content standards, and optimize knowledge for retrieval and AI enablement in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Audit and consolidate knowledge assets to enhance accessibility and reduce fragmentation
• Establish governance and content architecture standards for consistency and maintainability
• Optimize knowledge assets for improved retrieval quality and downstream AI performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Knowledge Management, Information Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5-8 years of experience in knowledge management, content architecture, or related disciplines
• Strong ability to structure content for search and AI-supported workflows
• Experience in capturing institutional knowledge and developing reusable documentation
• Familiarity with AI ecosystems and their role in enabling applications is preferred
