AI Legal Program Manager

Job Summary

Driving the development of legal frameworks for AI initiatives, the full-time AI Legal Program Manager will navigate the legal and regulatory landscape while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and risk management in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI legal and compliance frameworks that align with emerging regulations and industry standards
• Conduct cross-functional reviews of AI projects to identify legal risks and ensure compliance while fostering innovation
• Create and maintain AI governance documentation, including model cards and legal risk assessments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML initiatives
• Strong understanding of emerging AI regulations and their practical implementation
• Experience developing legal frameworks for AI governance and responsible AI development
• Track record of partnering with technical teams to implement legal requirements in AI systems
• Understanding of IP considerations in AI development, including training data rights and model ownership
