AI Legal Program Manager

Job Summary

Driving the development of legal and compliance frameworks for AI initiatives, the full-time AI Legal Program Manager will partner with legal, engineering, product, and compliance teams to ensure responsible AI innovation and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI legal and compliance frameworks, aligning with emerging regulations and industry standards
• Participate in cross-functional reviews of AI projects to identify legal risks and opportunities for compliance
• Maintain AI governance documentation, including model cards and legal risk assessments, while partnering with engineering teams for compliant practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with at least 2 years focused on AI/ML initiatives
• Strong understanding of emerging AI regulations and their practical implementation
• Experience in developing legal frameworks for AI governance and responsible development
• Track record of partnering with technical teams to implement legal requirements in AI systems
• Understanding of IP considerations in AI development, including training data rights and model ownership
