AI/ML Architect
Job Summary
To support the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time AI/ML Architect will design and maintain enterprise-level AI/ML product management pipelines, ensuring responsible deployment and governance of AI solutions across healthcare and benefits delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Design and maintain AI/ML product management pipelines aligned with VA governance standards
- Develop AI/ML architecture blueprints and technical standards for consistency and compliance across VA programs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess AI product readiness and recommend improvements for responsible AI adoption
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML architecture or related technical discipline
- Experience supporting federal agency clients or regulated industries with AI governance requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust clearance
- Deep familiarity with MLOps frameworks and modern CI/CD practices for ML systems
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; U.S. citizenship may be required
